Member section back, better than ever.

Saturday, June 23rd, 2007

We’ve been working hard this last week on restoring the member login section to the site. Its back up and running with some new and improved features.

New Signup Form - We’ve decided to make the signup process easier and automatic. Now, people wanting to sign up for an account can register and start using member features in minutes. We’ve also added a terms and conditions section, which all current members should review.

Your Favorite Trails - As part of many new member-based features that we are working on, we have created a way to mark your favorite trails for quick reference. Trails added to your favorites appear in your account home and are just a click away. You can also remove any trails from your favorites.

New Photo Gallery - Photos are back, with a new gallery look. Now you can view more photos at once in a way that is fast and fun. We hope you enjoy the new gallery.

We hope you will enjoy the new features. In the upcoming weeks, we will be working on and releasing even more member-based features. In the meantime, we hope you will find the site useful and get out on the trails.

UtahsTrails.com blog, site map pages created

Saturday, June 16th, 2007

We’ve decided to replace the current updates page with this blog. All the previous updates have been added, but now have been categorized and are searchable. We will also be adding posts to our blog about general trail information, giving you tips to improve your outdoor experience and explaining different parts of the site.  In addition, you can now contribute to our blog by adding comments.

We’ve also added a site map page to our site, with links directly to maps and trails. This provides an overview of what is on UtahsTrails.com and will help you find us on Search Engines like Yahoo! and Google.

We are also working on some exciting new features that should be ready within a week. Stay tuned.
