This part of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail is not as well marked and well kept as the more northern parts, espically between Rock Canyon and the Y-Mountain Trailhead, where it appears more to be an access road than a trail. The trail is pretty good from Y-mountain trailhead and slate canyon, but becomes harder to follow as you go south, ending somewhere near Springville.
